Ground Based Eclipse Observation from Easter Island

Our shortest tour will take us to one of the world’s most remote islands: Easter Island!
Much has been said about accommodation availability on Easter Island for this eclipse. Thus, we have taken the decision to provide you a fly in and out solution, without any overnight on Easter Island. In spite of not staying overnight, you will not miss any of the highlights: a short visit of this unique location and the observation of the total solar eclipse wit the Moais.

You shall arrive in Santiago de Chile, latest on July 10th early afternoon. Our special charter flight will leave from Santiago de Chile Arturo Merino Benítez international airport in the evening of July 10th. And land on Rapa Nui at Mataveri international airport early morning in time for sunrise.

We will take bicycles to move around the island. You will have ample time to find your own observing spot and await first contact. After the eclipse is over, you may want to discover the island on your own.

Our return charter flight departs after midnight back to Santiago de Chile where you will arrive early morning on Monday, July 12th.

You may now head back home or continue on our extended program to the Atacama desert

This program is still pending, due to non-confirmed flights in-/outbound Easter Island. For those travelers who want to secure their eclipse observation, should thus reserve their eclipse observation on our Patagonia Tour, now shorter, more economic and, if booked with the eclipse observation flight, with an almost 100% eclipse observation guarantee (read more)
