Rico (federico@eclipse-city.com), whose company had just been awarded McKinsey's Start-Up of the year for its secure Internet transaction processing capabilities, seemed right for this venture. As a trained electronics engineer and MBA, he had previously been into corporate Germany, managing assets for one of Europe's wealthiest families, before going to Spain to found his own business.
Rico is now a recognized senior adviser to international blue chip companies and investors, and partner of several international consulting companies. |

Xavier (xavier@eclipse-city.com), the roving eclipse advisor, did his first total solar eclipse 1991 on top of Hawaii’s Mauna Kea volcano, 1998 in the French Antilles, 1999 in France near Coucy-le-Chateau, 2001 in Angola south of Lucusse, 2002 in Australia near Andamooka, 2003 in Antarctica, 2005 in the South Pacific, 2006 in Libya and 2008 in China. Xavier has climbed several high peaks such as Muztagh Ata, Cerro Aconcagua, Ojos del Salado, Chimborazo, Kilimanjaro, Licancabur,
etc.
He also led an expedition to Mount Vinson, Antarctica’s highest peak, for the 2008 Annular Solar Eclipse.
Xavier is the author of the 5MCSE web tool that let your explore close to 12,000 solar eclipses. |

All Eclipse-City projects and events are carefully planned, staffed and controlled, to ensure we deliver all our programs at expected quality standards at competitive prices. |

Liu Si (si.liu@eclipse-city.com), a young Chinese national, who joined Eclipse-City in 2007 to reinforce our increasing presence in Asian markets. Liu Si is a certified Chinese tour guide in English language and holds a Master degree in Leisure, Tourism and Environment from Wageningen University of the Netherlands. Liu Si now is based in Shanghai as Operations Manager for our 2009 eclipse programs implementation. |

Zhu Xiaoxiao (xiaoxiao@eclipse-city.com), a young and talented Chinese girl has just joined the Eclipse-City team for our project in Shanghai, China for 2009. She has studied in The Netherland for about five years and can speak both English and Dutch. Xiaoxiao holds her Master degree (MSc of Leisure, Tourism and Environment ) from Wageningen University and Research Center. She will work for our Asian market promotion and corporate service. |

Roman (roman@eclipse-city.com) is an expert for communication and marketing. He absolved his studies on the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany. Roman is a passioned photographer and is responsible for Eclipse City’s contact to press, media, sponsors and production companies. |

Johannes (Joe) (johannes@eclipse-city.com) worked for several diplomacy and business development institutions as well as a consultant for named managers of the media- and finance branch. Studying in the USA and in Germany, Joe has an international background. Graduating with a bachelor at Juniata College, Pennsylvania, Joe studied political science on the University of Münster and graduated with a master. With his focus on strategic progresses, he prepares Eclipse-City Events and takes care
of the local administrations’ networking and decision-makers. |

Melanie (melanie@eclipse-city.com), a british national based in Frankfurt, is our Administration Manager and graphic designer. She has an international background and is bilingual (English and German). When she’s not pulling any strings at Eclipse-City, she runs her own graphic design agency. |

Stephan (stephan@eclipse-city.com), an expert in eclipse reporting and photography experienced his first total solar eclipse 1998 in the Caribbean, saw the eclipses 2001, 2002 and 2005 in central America, Africa and Spain. 2006 he guided a tour in central Anatolia (Turkey) to meet totality
near the great volcano Hasan Dag. Holding a masters degree in computer science of the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) his profession is consulting and project management based on information technology, business and security expertise. He joined eclipse city 2008 as an associate to coordinate the International Solar Eclipse Summit InterSoles 1 in Jiayuguan (China).
